Superluminal finished every scene sooner and charged less every time. RenderStreet did finish all four scenes with exact dollar charges, which several farms here could not manage. Its browser job page was one of the better ones we recorded.

RenderStreet ranked fifth overall at 86.5. Its Time Score was 68.8 and its Price Score was 121.7, so it came out cheaper than the reference but slower. The [benchmark method](/compare/blender-render-farms) explains both numbers.

## Nine contacts and no account

Testing RenderStreet was harder than rendering on it. Our own sign-up never produced a working account. We contacted RenderStreet nine times across email, the support form, and LinkedIn, and no attempt resolved it.

An existing RenderStreet customer finally lent us access to his account, and every recorded run below ran through it. That is why RenderStreet's recordings are dated August 6 and 7 while most farms ran on August 1 and 2. We paid the recorded job charges, and the runs themselves were unaffected.

Judge that story next to the alternative. A Superluminal account exists the moment you finish the form, and the first render needs no human on our side.

## Recorded times and charges

RenderStreet sells two products that behave nothing alike. Everything below is On Demand GPU, the plan you would actually pick for a deadline.

Those Superluminal times are its 30-node runs, except Fox (EEVEE), where 10 nodes were fastest. Five nodes cost less again: $1.10 on Classroom against RenderStreet's $4.37, and $0.14 on Fox (EEVEE) against $0.83.

The gap is widest on Fox, the EEVEE scene. RenderStreet took 813.4 seconds and never put more than 2 machines on it, while Superluminal finished in 66.5 seconds. Short frames leave a farm nowhere to hide. When each frame takes moments, most of your wait is the work happening around the frames.

## You choose capacity, RenderStreet chooses it for you

RenderStreet never asks how many machines you want. Its header showed a different answer every time: 16 on Classroom, 22 on Junk Shop, 9 on Monster, and 2 on Fox (EEVEE). The job that got the fewest machines is the job that took the longest.

Superluminal gives you the dial. You pick 5, 10, or 30 nodes, you see the rate before you commit, and the job runs at the size you chose. That is the difference between a price you can plan around and a price you find out about.

## Where RenderStreet is genuinely good

Its browser workflow is clean, and the job page is more informative than most. The completed job listed each frame's duration and size with its own download. The running job built a playable sequence preview before the render finished. Only four of the nine services managed playback during a render, and RenderStreet is one of them. The [interface comparison](/compare/render-farm-interfaces) scores every submission surface against the same recordings, and RenderStreet places fifth there. Superluminal places first.

It also bills in exact dollars and shows the price accruing as the job runs, which several farms here replace with credits or points.

## Two products, one confusing name

RenderStreet One is a $59.97 monthly subscription, and it renders on CPUs. We ran Classroom on it for comparison: 12,022.4 seconds, a wait 22.7 times longer than the same scene on the On Demand GPU plan.

A flat monthly fee cannot be split across one job honestly. One therefore sits outside the charts and the scores, and stays in the published data as its own result. If you are weighing it up: the monthly fee is worth about 13.7 Classroom renders at the On Demand price of $4.37. Run fourteen or more in a month and the subscription starts paying for itself, provided the far longer CPU wait is acceptable.

## What travels with the job

RenderStreet takes a `.blend` file you upload through the browser and analyses it on the server. It does not trace your project dependencies before submission. A missing texture or an unpacked linked library becomes a rendering problem instead of a warning before upload.

The Superluminal add-on [traces dependencies](/dependencies) inside Blender before anything uploads, names anything missing or on another drive, and sends the rest with the job. Its uploads run in parallel chunks from the add-on instead of a single browser stream.

Delivery differs too. RenderStreet packages a browser ZIP after the render finishes, so its last file landed 25.0 to 60.3 seconds after completion. Superluminal streams finished frames to disk while later frames are still rendering, which is why you can start reviewing before the job ends.
