## Complete documentation

Superluminal is a render farm for Blender. The add-on prepares and submits your scene. The web app shows projects, frames, previews, logs, performance, and billing. When frames finish, you download the full output through Blender.

## The workflow at a glance

### Prepare in Blender

Save the `.blend`, test the intended frame locally, and choose whether the submission should be self-contained or reuse project files.

### Submit through the add-on

Select a Superluminal project, frame range, render order, image format, Blender version, and any render-time add-ons.

### Review in the web app

Watch frame state, inspect previews and render layers, compare machines and operation timings, and search live logs.

### Download through Blender

Choose a local folder in **Manage & Download**. You can start before the whole job finishes. The downloader follows completed frames.

## Current product boundaries

Four limits cause most of the confusion. Each links to a full explanation:

- Rendering is submitted from the Blender add-on. The [public API](/docs/automation) is experimental.
- Full-quality output is [downloaded through the add-on](/docs/blender-addon/manage-and-download), not the web job page, and render objects are [retained for seven days](/docs/web-ui/outputs#seven-day-render-object-retention).
- Rendering requires a [positive organization balance](/docs/web-ui/billing). When funds run out, active frames are not guaranteed to finish.
- Storage, Production, and Workstations are visible in navigation but still [Coming Soon previews](/docs/availability).

The app shows current pricing, referral benefits, and available capacity. These docs do not repeat numbers that change.

### New home, same product

These guides now live inside Superluminal at `/docs`. Older `docs.superlumin.al` links redirect to their matching page here.

- [Core concepts](/docs/concepts): Projects, jobs, frames, organizations, credits, and files in plain language.
- [Product availability](/docs/availability): See what is available now, experimental, or still a preview.
- [Billing and credits](/docs/web-ui/billing): Balance requirements, checkout, auto top-up, payment history, and referrals.
- [Support](/docs/support): Contact options and the diagnostic details to include.
