Last Updated: 28 July 2026 This Policy explains how purchases, Credits, billing, refunds, and chargebacks work for the Superluminal Render Farm. It is incorporated into the Superluminal Render Farm Terms of Service.
---
1. Credit purchases
Superluminal sells prepaid render Credits that you use to run Jobs on the Service.
Credits do not expire unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase or required by law.
Unless otherwise required by law, Credit purchases are final and non-refundable once completed.
---
2. Auto top-up
Auto top-up is optional. When you enable it, you authorize Superluminal and its payment processor to initiate repeated, unscheduled payments using your selected payment method whenever your Credit balance drops below the threshold shown in your settings.
- Each payment purchases the top-up amount you selected, plus any applicable
tax.
- We initiate at most one payment for a low-balance episode. Your balance must
recover to or above the threshold before a later drop can trigger another payment.
- Credits are added only after the payment succeeds. If a payment fails or
requires your action, Auto top-up is paused until you update or confirm your payment method.
- You can change or disable Auto top-up in the billing checkout. Disabling it
prevents future payments, but does not cancel a payment already initiated or completed.
Your payment details are saved and processed by our payment processor. We store only limited billing metadata, such as the payment-method type, brand, and last four digits.
---
3. What you pay for
- We charge Credits based on actual Job usage as measured by the Service.
- Unless stated otherwise in the Service UI, we bill only for successfully rendered frames (or other successfully completed compute units).
- Estimates shown before or during rendering are informational and may differ from final costs.
---
4. Farm-side failures and billing adjustments
If you believe you were billed Credits for work that failed due to a Service-side fault, contact support@su.lu within 7 days of the Job completing and include:
- your Job ID,
- the timeframe and frame range affected (if applicable), and
- any error logs/screenshots you have.
If we confirm a Service-side fault, we may (at our discretion):
- re-run affected work at no additional charge, and/or
- re-credit your Account for affected usage.
---
5. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend your Account while we investigate.
We want to resolve billing issues quickly — email support@su.lu.
---
6. Taxes
We may calculate and collect applicable transaction taxes (for example, sales tax, VAT, GST) based on your location and the information you provide. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and valid tax IDs where applicable.
---
7. EEA/UK/Switzerland: right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, subject to exceptions for digital content/digital services.
7.1 Immediate performance and withdrawal exception
Rendering Jobs typically begin promptly when you submit them. Where legally permitted, by purchasing Credits and/or starting a Job you request immediate performance of a digital service and acknowledge that you may lose your withdrawal right for the portion of the service that has been performed.
7.2 Withdrawal requests
If you believe you have a withdrawal right for a particular purchase, contact support@su.lu within 14 days of the purchase. We will process requests in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights, including rights and remedies for defective or non-conforming digital services where applicable.
