Acceptable Use Policy

This policy describes prohibited conduct and prohibited product types on Sulu Market. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service and Creator Terms.

We may update this policy from time to time. Violations can result in removal, suspension, or termination.

1. High-level rule

Use Sulu Market legally, safely, and honestly. Do not harm other users, the Service, or third parties.

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Break the law or encourage unlawful activity.
• Infringe intellectual property (copyright, trademark, patents) or violate privacy/publicity rights.
• Upload malware or harmful code (viruses, trojans, spyware, credential stealers, ransomware, backdoors).
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, APIs, or infrastructure; probe, scan, or test security without written permission.
• Scrape or crawl the Service using automated means without our permission (except standard search engine indexing of publicly available pages, if allowed by robots.txt).
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users; doxxing; hate speech; targeted harassment.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation.
• Manipulate reviews or sales metrics, including shilling, compensated reviews without disclosure, or coordinated review attacks.
• Evade checkout or fees, including directing users off-platform to purchase, exchanging payment info, or sharing external purchase links for the purpose of avoiding marketplace fees.
• Spam or send unsolicited advertising.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to circumvent technical restrictions (to the extent not prohibited by law).
• Exploit vulnerabilities or engage in denial-of-service behavior.

3. Prohibited products and content

You may not list products or content that:

3.1 Are illegal or regulated in a way we can't support

• illegal goods or services
• stolen property, trafficking, or facilitation of crimes
• counterfeit goods, forged documents, or tools to commit fraud
• regulated weapons, ammunition, or instructions primarily intended for weapon construction

3.2 Are sexually explicit or exploitative

• pornography or explicit sexual content
• sexual exploitation content, especially involving minors (strictly prohibited)

3.3 Promote hate, violence, or harassment

• content promoting violence or discrimination against protected classes
• extremist propaganda or recruitment

3.4 Involve malware, surveillance, or hacking

• spyware, keyloggers, password stealers, exploit kits
• "hacking tools" intended for unauthorized access
• undisclosed telemetry or data exfiltration

3.5 Are medical, financial, or other high-risk regulated claims

• products that make medical claims, offer diagnosis/treatment, or provide regulated medical devices
• products offering credit repair, illegal financial services, or money laundering facilitation

3.6 Are not appropriate for this marketplace

Sulu Market is intended for digital creative goods (e.g., Blender-related assets and add-ons). Unless we approve otherwise in writing, you may not sell:

• physical goods
• in-person services or freelance services fulfilled off-platform
• subscriptions or recurring billing products
• event tickets

4. Export controls and sanctions

You may not use the Service or export/re-export products in violation of applicable export controls or sanctions laws. This includes dealings with sanctioned individuals/entities or embargoed regions where prohibited.

5. Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend accounts, restrict sellers, or take other action at our discretion, including to comply with law, payment processor requirements, or to protect the marketplace.
