Blender add-on

Submit scenes, choose remote render settings, monitor jobs, and download completed output without leaving Blender.

Updated 2026-08-04

The Superluminal add-on is the supported path for submitting Blender scenes and downloading full render output. Its main panel lives in Render Properties → Superluminal Render.

Two apps, one workflow

Configure and submit in Blender. Use the web app for deep monitoring and review. Return to Blender to download full-quality output.

*The whole add-on lives in one Render Properties panel, with collapsible sections below the submit actions.*

The controls change with connection and project state. Each area of the panel has its own guide:

  1. Connection: browser-based account connection, with password sign-in as a collapsed fallback. → Install and connect
  2. Project and job: project picker, job name, frame range, render pattern, image format, and submit buttons. → Submit a job
  3. Upload Settings: ZIP or PROJECT mode, project-root controls, path warnings, and enabled add-ons to package. → Upload settings and Add-ons and dependencies
  4. Render Node Settings and Experimental: farm Blender version, error-finish behavior, and the Persistence Engine. → Render-node settings
  5. Manage & Download: refresh and filter jobs, open a job in the browser, select a local path, and download output. → Manage & Download

Clicking a submit button opens a separate terminal window with the submission transcript. Read the submission terminal explains it stage by stage.
